Calling out to vendors! In collaboration with The Zhariff Initiative, The Pop Up Bazaar continues this month with its focus on men's health. It doesn't mean you aren't allowed to sell women-centric items, by all means, do! It's just that there will be talks related to men's health issues during the 3-day event.

In general, Movember is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of Men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and other male cancers; and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com. The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."
By encouraging men (which the charity refers to as "Mo Bros") to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides getting an annual check-up, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of any family history of cancer, and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

So wait no more and send in your booking forms to info@bestevents-asia.com by 22 November!

Did we mention that if you're selling products for men, you get the 3rd day free?

Yes, despite our very unpredictable Malaysian weather, we still love our garden weddings. Here are some ideas for your wedding

Inviting Entryway

The “entryway” to this venue's dining area consisted of an old door propped perfectly in position to hold escort cards.

The backdrop for this Colorado ceremony was kept simple and airy to showcase the mountain scenery. Hanging garlands of ombre carnations did the trick.

A tree by the pond is adorned with festive tissue-paper pom-poms to help anchor the ceremony area

Vintage-style signposts, made by the bride's dad and painted by the bride and groom, direct guests on to the reception and around the resort for the weekend.

An exciting new way to entertain your guests has come to Malaysia: Sand Art – The Evolving Canvas. Your guests will be amazed as they experience the skilful and breathtaking creativity of art on a canvas, projected onto a large screen, the scenes continually transforming before their eyes.

The visual artist uses the medium of sand to create shapes and landscapes upon a canvas, continually changing the scene he sets. With the sweep of a hand, or the addition of more sand, a new scene is created.  Set to music, from Beethoven to Vivaldi, Hendrix to Miles Davis, as the music swells and the mood evolves, guests will be taken on a visual journey.

In 2008, when Showtime hosted the premiere party for the second season of The Tudors at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, the network made a big impression by covering the property's enormous rotunda in mesh vinyl. With a stone pattern and carefully placed windows that aligned with the building's, the fabric draping made the exterior look like a castle, while brightly colored polyfabric banners publicized the event and the show's cast.
