Kids Haunted House Party

I love Halloween parties as people get to dress up and take on a totally different personality. I recently got a chance to organize a Haunted House birthday party for 7 year old triplets and I must say the kids really enjoyed themselves.
As we were just putting the final touches to the decor, clouds started to gather for the perfect haunted House weather. Needless to say, it started pouring 30 minutes before the party was supposed to start. Skeleton legs and hands were seen being detached by the heavy downpour but most of the decor remained alright.

As guests started trickling in, we started with ghoul facepainting at 5.30pm before a zombie and his "pontianak" mate made an appearance to the delight (and horror) of the kids there. A few started crying but then quickly got over the fright when they saw that the characters meant no harm and were really more afraid of them!

Then, the Grim Reaper entered, rain turned into a light drizzle and eventually stopped. He then conducted some Haunted House related games which included a spider hunt. This was followed by a group photo taking session and the mandatory candle blowing. After one more game, the kids were then taught by a witch to make slime. They each had a small bag of slime to take home after that.
After dinner, there were candy jars filled to the brim for kids to make their pick from to place into nice candy bags.
