"GruvAvenue Large Ensemble”
"GruvAvenue Large Ensemble” was formed in year 2007. The setup is different from a standard big band or a concert band. It comprises of a micro section of brass and wind, string section, and musically versatile rhythm section. This ensemble is the fruit of a laborious production of international teamwork, from a minimum of 20 highly sought-after young professionals originating from Europe, America and Asia, with decades of classical and jazz performing experience all over the world.
Its repertoire includes the re-arrangement of Traditional Classical orchestral compositions, Big Band Jazz Classics, Pop tunes, Motown Hits, energetic Funky House, and any good music from the past, present, and future.
The group performs exclusively for prominent corporate events and extravagantly romantic wedding receptions. “GruvAvenue Large Ensemble” performs with many outstanding vocalists including the gifted jazz natural Austronesian Davina Rajendra, the renowned artiste Dira Sugandi from Indonesia, multi-talented Joy Ellis from United Kingdom of Britain, Gregg Arthur from Los Angeles, and Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) 2014 winner of "Best New Artiste" Poova Plachciak.

Playing some of the funkiest grooves from across the decades, they play a mix of originals as well as classic covers from the likes of Earth Wind & Fire, Tower or Power and Kool & the Gang. Comprised of talented musicians from around the world; US, Europe, South America and South East Asia, this band have performed at countless events across Singapore including Singapore Airlines’ Gran Prix in 2014, and headlined renowned music festival ‘Penhstock’ in Cambodia 2012.

Performance Length & Description
This amazing and highly talented band consists of 10 piece band and can perform beautiful music at your birthday party, wedding or corporate event! They can perform 1 set of 45 minutes. Additionally they have dancers who can perform with the band to increase the WOW factor of their performance, which is available if there is adequate dance floor space for them. The dancers can perform for 15 minutes, for an additional cost of £3,100.

This professional Live Cover Band are based in Singapore and perform a variety of genres such as Funk, RnB, Soul, Blues, Dance, Rock and Top 40s.
The band, which includes Grammy Nominated Artist, Duke Purisima, have played on the biggest stages in Singapore and has been hired for numerous large corporate events, private parties and weddings.
All passionate musicians, many of the band’s members have extensive experience previously playing in live or local rock and pop bands. The Band’s music is as diverse as its lineup consisting of live musicians from Funk, R&B, Dance and Rock genre. The group has become famed for their creative medleys and ability to improvise to suit any show.

This incredibly talented band would be fantastic at creating a party atmosphere at your event! They are a 6 piece band which includes very gifted musicians, including a female vocalist, strings, drums and keyboard. They have performed at many high profile events in Singapore and always provide an amazing performance which would be outstanding at your event!
